2007- 2008 Winter Camp Dates

Our third year at Hontoon Resort is fast approaching. Deland Florida just 45 minutes north of Orlando is an ideal place for a sculling or sweep retreat.  Miles and Miles of fresh water on the St. Johns River will be your playground for 5 days of fun this winter.  Four dates to fit your schedule have been reserved. 

Nov 29-Dec 3, 2007  Dec 30-Jan 3, 2008      
Jan 4- 8, 2008 and Jan 20-24, 2008

Each Camp will offer video review and plenty of personalized coaching.  Get ready for fun with the manatees!!

Junior Camps and Coaching Education Programs

New for 2008- Junior Programs similar to our well received Master Programs are being reserved.  Do you have a group of Junior rowers who want to excel but want to stay close to home?  Do you have new entry level coaches that need some help developing their "Coaching Eye"?  How does a Junior camp at your club with 4 different college coaches coming to them sound?  We have a program for you. 

Coaches will help coach any level of athlete and boats can be set from the new high school freshman to the experienced varsity rower looking to attend college in the fall.  Our coaches work at some of the best colleges in the country, have great experience and knowledge of what makes teams go fast. 

Education of new and inexperienced coaches is critical as our sport continues to grow.  Let our coaches help your coaches grow and develop.  Learning how to properly rig boats and oars, use the video camera and other "tricks of the trade" will help them become more confident and will help your crews row better and win!
