Plovdiv is one of the oldest cities in all of Europe and guess what, there is a rowing course in the middle of it. Rowing is a central sport in Bulgaria and you will be in the middle of the action. Walk from your modern hotel through old town to the boathouse, jump on the course, get coached by Lubo, Mark, or Jim. This will be a chance to see a part of the world that many American’s rarely see and you will be rowing there along with the some of the best. The 2025 European Championships were held on the course and World Rowing loves this venue for many reasons and so will you. Come for the rowing and stay for the lifestyle. You will fly in and out of Sophia, Bulgaria and everything else will be arranged.
